Six things not to do when repairing an excavator!

Here are six behaviors that seriously harm the excavator.

1. I don’t think I need to explain the role of adding engine oil without replacing it. It is a key part of ensuring that the internal structure of the car engine is smooth and clean. Many excavator operators can only check the remaining oil of the engine oil and add it immediately, but they ignore one of the characteristics of the engine oil: it is easy to pollute. Engine oil is easily polluted by waste generated during engine operation. For example, carbon deposits from the engine will enter the engine oil and affect the normal function of the engine oil.

2.At the same time, many excavator operators neglect or do not thoroughly clean the main oil passage after changing the engine oil, causing residues to remain in the internal structure and reducing the service life of the car engine.

3.Unsalted butter is used as a panacea. It is a daily routine for every excavator operator to apply butter on the joints and other joints of the excavator arm. However, unsalted butter is not a panacea and cannot be applied everywhere. Some equipment maintenance workers will apply a layer of unsalted butter on the cylinder gasket when installing it, thinking that it can improve the sealing of the cylinder. But in fact, when you use unsalted butter to wipe the cylinder gasket, the unsalted butter will also be added into the cylinder, and it will be burned and qualitatively changed due to the continuous high temperature during operation, making the cylinder gasket unable to seal.    

4.The piston rod is heated with fire. Since the piston rod and the cylinder liner are in interference cooperation, when installing the cylinder liner, the piston rod should first be heated and expanded. At this time, some maintenance personnel will put the piston rod on the fire immediately. Heating is very wrong, because the thickness of each position of the piston rod is uneven, and the degree of thermal expansion and contraction will be different. Heating with fire will cause the piston rod to be heated unevenly, causing the piston rod to deform. At the same time, the piston rod will be damaged and the wear resistance will be greatly reduced, and the service life will also be shortened. The piston rod can be placed in boiling oil and heated evenly to cause it to expand slowly. Remember not to heat it directly with fire.  

5.Small screws are overtightened. During the disassembly process of the excavator, the tightness of many screws is regulated. However, many users think that tightening it will be safer, but tightening it too tight will cause the anchor bolts to break, and may also cause the screws to slip and cause unexpected accidents. The tire pressure standard for wheel excavators is too high.

 6.The life of a wheel excavator lies in its tires, and the standard air pressure in the tires determines the service life and performance of the tires. In order to better ensure the service life of wheel diggers, tire pressure standards are also different in different seasons and temperatures. The tire pressure in summer should be about 10% lower than the standard pressure, and in cold winter it should be slightly lower than the standard pressure. Only in spring and autumn, you only need to follow the standard pressure. When the water tank is boiling, add warm water on high After hard work, sometimes it is found that the water in the water tank boils due to poor heat dissipation or lack of water in the water tank. Some inexperienced masters will add cold water immediately, but this sudden cooling and sudden heating will cause the engine block to crack. The best way is to stop working and let the water storage tank cool down and dissipate heat on its own.
